The Course for Media Trainers
Hello, I'm Rebecca Jabbar and I'm the course creator and the trainer of the Media Trainer Method.
In my many years in comms I observed multiple media training workshops delivered by many different media trainers. But what I observed was that these workshops were actually more media practice than media training.
I started to supplement the media workshops until I decided to branch out on my own as The Media Trainer, and in this time, I have trained hundreds of spokespeople to be authentic and credible and engaging.
And I'm very proud of the brand that I have established. But I'm only one person and I choose to work part time.
There are many, many spokespeople out there who deserve to be trained in a high value setting that really equips them to be the best they can be.
So if you're considering to become a media trainer or augment the skills you already have and want to know exactly how to do it and do it well, this course is for you.

How will The Media Trainer Method increase your income?
You will leave this course with everything you need to launch or expand a new service, a high-value offer that you can confidently charge for.
There is strong and consistent demand for media and communication training. Every business, regardless of size, needs people who can represent their brand effectively at events, in interviews, on podcasts and online.
Some organisations look for support directly, while others turn to one of the 25,000 PR agencies in the UK for recommendations. You only need to reach a small fraction of that market to make your mark.
Whether you work independently or partner with agencies, The Media Trainer Method gives you the tools and credibility to meet a growing demand and create a lasting, profitable income stream.
5.3 million micro businesses
There are more than 5.5 million micro businesses in the UK, each with a story to tell but often without in-house communication expertise. Many turn to external trainers for help shaping and delivering their messages.
246,170 SME businesses
Across the UK, more than 246,000 SMEs employ between 10 and 249 people. These companies regularly invest in communication and leadership training, providing strong, repeat opportunities for skilled trainers
8,000 large organisations
Over 8,000 large organisations operate in the UK, each with senior leadership, communications and marketing teams who regularly represent their business publicly and need to do so with clarity and confidence

How the course runs
The Media Trainer Method will run each Friday for five weeks from 17th April 2026. It is designed to combine structure with flexibility and each week builds on the last, with live sessions focused on theory, frameworks and discussion.
Between sessions, you’ll have guided time to apply what you’ve learned and prepare for your own delivery.
Week Three includes an individual feedback session with Rebecca, giving you personal time to focus on building your own workshop and having 121 Q&A time.
An exact timetable will be shared after you've joined.
